The corporate world, like every element of society, is in a pivotal moment. Many organizations are prioritizing conversations about race and gender equity and are taking authentic strides toward finally hearing and centering marginalized voices. It’s a beautiful thing. But there’s risk in this moment too. This isn’t a time for surface-level change. There’s a mandate to go deeper. Nothing short of systemic change will facilitate real equity at work.
