For Educators & Coaches

A Call to Men works to engage people of all ages and all genders in the practice of healthy manhood, and we put special focus on our work with young people — and the adults who teach, coach, mentor, and parent them — because young people’s voices should be at the center of creating a more equitable world.

We use a train-the-trainer model in order to reach as many young people as possible with the tools to break out of the Man Box. We convene and facilitate programs for young leaders and offer our Live Respect curriculum (gender and racial equity training for middle and high school boys). We also run custom workshops and trainings online and around the world — from two hours to two days — with K-12 schools, colleges and universities, athletic programs, and community groups. Our Call to Coaches events are custom-designed gatherings for coaches from one school or organization, or from across a community, to train coaches to build young men of character, to promote healthy, respectful manhood, and prevent violence and discrimination against all women and girls.

“I saw the transformation in my players and our team after we worked with A Call to Men. The program taught them that their words matter. It created a safe opportunity for young men to begin looking at emotions, feelings, and healthy relationships.”

Jeramie Collins, Guidance Counselor & Assistant Football Coach, Kingston (NY) High School
