Annika Leonard (she, her, hers)

Determined to change the things she could not accept, Annika Leonard founded Priceless Incite LLC, an organization dedicated to uplifting the experiences of youth who are impacted by violence through community-based advocacy, intervention, and leadership development. Perhaps most notable about her work is the overarching centering of healing as key in ending violence in all its forms — and that those most impacted by violence need to lead that work in all areas of their lives. Annika has developed a culturally specific prevention curriculum for Black teen girls to bring about deep, radical, and cultural solutions to heal from violence. At her core, she believes that answers must come from those most impacted by violence and is committed to removing barriers so that young people can find their own expertise and increase collective action towards a more just world.

Annika supports youth navigating their healing journey in ways that are respectful of their identity and culture. Annika’s professional life reflects her educational values. She attained B.S. in criminal justice and a Master of Business Administration. Her continued, specialized studies and trainings on gender-based violence have qualified her as an expert in dozens of topics including anti-oppression, trauma informed theory, and domestic and sexual violence prevention and intervention.
