Safety Starts with All of Us
Take the conversation with you.
Thank you for joining A Call to Men Live Powered by Uber.
Creating safer communities takes all of us.
Technology, policies, and safety features are important. So are the choices we make, the behaviors we model, the conversations we start, and the culture we create together.
Uber is working to build tools, features, and systems designed to help make rides safer.
A Call to Men works to transform the attitudes, behaviors, and cultural norms that contribute to violence and harm. Both matter. And each of us has a role to play.
Use this page to keep learning, start conversations, and carry what you heard today into the places where you live, work, lead, and have influence.

What can I do?
Be part of creating a culture of safety
You don’t have to work in violence prevention to help prevent violence. And you don’t need a title to influence culture. Every day, we have opportunities to shape what is acceptable in our workplaces, families, friendships, teams, faith communities, neighborhoods, and other spaces where we have influence.
LEARN.
Pay attention to the messages we receive about manhood, masculinity, power, gender, and relationships.
PRACTICE.
Model respect, consent, empathy, accountability, vulnerability, and healthy relationships.
INTERRUPT.
Don’t allow harassment, objectification, harmful comments, or disrespect to become normal. When it is safe to do so, speak up.
TALK.
Start conversations with the men and boys in your life about healthy manhood, relationships, accountability, and safety.
SHARE.
Use your influence to bring someone else into the conversation.
