A Call to Men is looking for a Director of Digital Strategy to join our communications team. The successful candidate will be a talented, reliable, detail oriented, deadline-driven senior strategist, with deep experience using digital channels and tools to drive fundraising and engagement with global audiences.
The candidate will develop strategy, plan and manage compelling daily content and engaging campaigns and online events, and direct external partners, including a contract visual designer. The candidate will manage content on A Call to Men’s website, engage with A Call to Men’s online audience, and disseminate campaigns across the organization’s digital platforms as well as measure their success and make future decisions based on metrics and data.
The candidate will have a proven record of successful online campaigns, user engagement, and a demonstrated ability to react to current events. The Director of Digital Strategy will be responsible for sharpening A Call to Men’s online brand and improving user experience across all channels. Duties will also include working as an integral part of the communication team, reporting to the Chief Communications Officer and working alongside a Director of Communications.
The successful candidate will be a team player and have the ability to build relationships, capitalize on existing resources, and work effectively within the team. We’re looking for someone who is creative in their approach to online content. This position requires a high level of creativity and solid editorial judgement as well as the ability to use and produce social media analysis that drives strategy and reinforces the organization’s commitment to gender and racial justice.
- 6 years of experience in strategic, digital and social media communication including:
- Experience crafting and executing holistic digital strategies with diverse audiences and goals
- Experience developing and managing cross-channel calendars
- Ability to compile and analyze digital engagement metrics
- A passion for creating engaging content across all digital channels
- Demonstrated news judgement
- Experience with web content management (especially WordPress)
- Ability to integrate still imagery and video into web features
- Real-time social media monitoring and engagement
- Event planning, communication planning and execution is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree and relevant work experience
- A background or degree in journalism is a plus
This is a remote, work from home position with some travel required. Salary range is $80,000-$85,000 with the added benefit of being part of a high-impact organization creating a more equitable and just society.
