Dr. Bobby Casiano (they, them, ellx)

Dr. Bobby Casiano (they, them, ellx) is an Afro-Puerto Rican anti-racist educator and scholar-activist. Dr. Casiano is a graduate of Yale, Columbia, Penn, and NYU and completed their antiracist training with the People’s Institute for Survival and Beyond. They arrived in NYC by way of Harford, CT, and have been active in antiracist action, collaboration, organizing, and listening for over a decade across K-12 public education, higher education, non-profit, and public health institutions. Dr. Casiano is a trained social worker and founder of a private psychotherapy, consulting, and coaching practice in NYC. Their commitment is centered on dismantling anti-Blackness, undoing racism and its intersection across gender, class, ability, and sexuality. Dr. Casiano has extensive experience integrating an affirming space related to the intersection of identities, anti-oppression, and trauma informed healing.
