Carolyn Glickstein

Carolyn Glickstein has committed her career to causes that empower women and families.  For the past 15 years, she has worked as a Geriatric Care Manager in private practice – providing guidance and support for seniors and their families.  She has been actively involved in a variety of nonprofit organizations in different capacities including: the Scarsdale-Edgemont Family Counseling Service (board president 1998-2000), the Westchester Fund for Women and Girls (chair 2001-02), the Northern Westchester Shelter, Inc., Hope’s Door (board member 2004-09), and the Women’s Enterprise Development Center (2009- ). Glickstein is passionate about tennis.  In addition to being an avid player, she has been the coach of the Edgemont Jr-Sr High School District’s boys modified and girls junior varsity tennis teams for the last seven years and is a newly elected board member of The County Tennis Club of Westchester. Glickstein earned her bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from Boston University and her master’s degree in marriage, family and child counseling from the University of San Francisco. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers.  She resides in Manhattan.


Brooke McMurray

Brooke McMurray is a former publishing industry executive and passionate advocate for the victims and survivors of domestic violence. She has been a member of the board of directors of Safe Horizon, an organization that provides support and advocacy for victims of crime and abuse, since 1996. As national spokesperson for Safe Horizon, McMurray has been featured on Good Morning America and National Public Radio, and was the subject of a 2002 Lifetime Television special, Fear No More: Stop Violence Against Women. Before leaving the company in 2000, McMurray had a 26-year career at Time Incorporated where she held several executive positions related to the launch and marketing of more than 30 magazines. She is currently the president of World Benefactor, a company that develops online marketing solutions for nonprofits. McMurray resides with her husband in New York City.
