Carolyn Glickstein

Carolyn Glickstein has committed her career to causes that empower women and families.  For the past 15 years, she has worked as a Geriatric Care Manager in private practice – providing guidance and support for seniors and their families.  She has been actively involved in a variety of nonprofit organizations in different capacities including: the Scarsdale-Edgemont Family Counseling Service (board president 1998-2000), the Westchester Fund for Women and Girls (chair 2001-02), the Northern Westchester Shelter, Inc., Hope’s Door (board member 2004-09), and the Women’s Enterprise Development Center (2009- ). Glickstein is passionate about tennis.  In addition to being an avid player, she has been the coach of the Edgemont Jr-Sr High School District’s boys modified and girls junior varsity tennis teams for the last seven years and is a newly elected board member of The County Tennis Club of Westchester. Glickstein earned her bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from Boston University and her master’s degree in marriage, family and child counseling from the University of San Francisco. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers.  She resides with her husband, Richard, in Scarsdale, New York.
