Michael Tiliakos is a partner in the New York office of Duane Morris LLP. He practices in the area of employment law. He routinely counsels clients on compliance with federal, state and local employment laws, and conducts workplace investigations and wage-and-hour audits. Tiliakos has significant experience litigating employment matters, including restrictive covenant matters, theft of trade secrets and breach of restrictive covenants, as well as Title III ADA cases involving public access disability discrimination. He also performs due diligence analysis in mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Tiliakos conducts extensive employee and management training courses, including anti-harassment training and courses on how to effectively manage employees in accordance with various employment laws.
Tiliakos is a member of Duane Morris LLP’s GEMS Anti-trafficking Project that helps survivors of sex trafficking by working through Girls Educational & Mentoring Services (GEMS), an organization based in New York City. He was also named to "The Nation's Most Powerful Employment Attorneys – Up-and-Comers" list published by Human Resource Executive magazine and based on peer and client evaluations conducted by Lawdragon, and is listed in New York Super Lawyers. Tiliakos is a 1996 cum laude graduate of New York Law School, where he was a member of the Law Review, and a graduate, with honors, of Pennsylvania State University. He serves as chair of the board for A CALL TO MEN.
